Improving Your Health Could Help You Sleep Better

Dr. David B. Rye, faculty member in Neuroscience, is interviewed by CNN's Sanjay Gupta about his research at the Emory Sleep Center. 

The most common sleep disorder is insomnia, but for others they get too much sleep and still battle constant tiredness. Both conditions have consequences for your health. What can you do to improve your sleep? Rye says good sleep hygiene means keep a regular schedule, try to get to bed at the same time, get up early, get exposure to the sun, don’t go to bed with your iPhone, and try not to take long naps in the day.
