MSP students showcase their stuff at the 2015 ASPET Meeting
This year Emory’s MSP Program showed strong representation at the Experimental Biology Conference in Boston, MA on March 28-April 1, 2015. Suzanne Mays, Will Hudson and Jeffrey Kohn from Dr. Eric Ortlund’s Lab joined Nicole Brown and Kyle Gerber from Dr. John Hepler’s Lab in presenting posters highlighting their recent work. Nicole, Suzanne and Will were awarded $1000 ASBMB/ ASPET Travel Awards! Additionally, Nicole and Kyle were selected as finalists in the ASPET-sponsored Molecular Pharmacology Division Best Abstract competition, placing these two students in the top 5 graduate students in this national competition. Suzanne Mays was also selected for a talk centered on the role of autophagy in the anti-cancer action of Enigmol.
