Is this the solution to plastic crisis? 'Mutant' enzyme gives scientists hope

Scientists recently revealed that they have inadvertently engineered an enzyme that could help address the global plastic crisis.

Emory University chemistry professor David Lynn and biochemistry professor Ichiro Matsumura are interviewed. Dr. Lynn is a faculty member in the BCDB, MMG and PBEE programs and Dr. Matsumura is a faculty member in the GMB Program.
