Overview
Modern biological research is interdisciplinary and the MSP graduate program is firmly committed providing cutting-edge training to future scientists. Our program encompasses diverse areas of science, including pharmacology, molecular biology, structural biology, biochemistry, genetics, cell biology, physiology, chemistry, toxicology, microbiology, neuroscience, and others. This cross-discipline approach provides our graduates with numerous possibilities for rewarding careers in research.
Given the ever-changing landscape in biomedical science, our program's focus is on mentored dissertation research, defined as an original, substantial contribution to knowledge. The MSP program offers an innovative and flexible curriculum, with three recommended tracks encompassing Pharmacology, Chemical Biology and Toxicology. Each track is interdisciplinary and provides students an opportunity to learn new techniques and find a mentor for dissertation research during three required laboratory rotations.
