Investigators in the Emory School of Medicine have access to a comprehensive range of core facilities and innovative technologies to support their research. Along with advanced tools and equipment, our integrated core facilities offer the expertise of multi-disciplinary teams experienced in supporting research across the Woodruff Health Sciences Center, which includes the School of Nursing, Emory National Primate Research Center, Rollins School of Public Health, Winship Cancer Institute and Emory Healthcare.
Offering a wide range of research resources, the Georgia Clinical & Translational Science Alliance (Georgia CTSA) is an inter-institutional magnet that concentrates basic, translational, and clinical research investigators, community clinicians, professional societies, and industry collaborators in dynamic clinical and translational research projects. Emory engaged three of its close academic partners - Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM), Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), and the University of Georgia (UGA) - to form the Georgia CTSA. This partnership, a strategic multi-institutional alliance, offers compelling, unique, and synergistic advantages to research and patients statewide.
Led by the Department of Pediatrics in the Emory School of Medicine, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) offers key resources, pediatric core services, and expert support to help researchers at every step. From imaging and data analysis to clinical trial support, our cores provide tools and skilled professionals to make pediatric research faster and more effective, ultimately improving children's health outcomes.
