Margarita Sison
President
Margarita is a 3rd year PhD student in the Neuroscience program. She started volunteering with GIVE when she first joined the program and now serves as President for the 2026-27 academic year. Besides her research and outreach, she enjoys drawing and visiting cafés.
Tori Placentra
Vice President
Tori is a 6th year PhD student in the Genetics and Molecular Biology program. They have been involved with GIVE since 2022 and are excited for another year on the exec board! Outside of lab work and volunteering, Tori is an avid cyclist and knitter.
Lucas Williamson
Treasurer
Lucas is a 4th year PhD student in the Neuroscience graduate program. He first volunteered with GIVE in summer of 2023 and joined the exec board in spring of 2025. In his spare time, Lucas enjoys cooking and playing the piano.
Christian Mei
Vice Treasurer
Christian is a 2nd year PhD student in the Genetics and Molecular Biology program. He joined GIVE at the start of his second year and now serves on the executive board. Outside of research and volunteering, Christian enjoys hiking and reading.
Yuying Sun
Secretary
Sun is a 2nd year PhD student in the Physics graduate program. She became involved with GIVE at the start of her first year and now serves on the executive board. Outside of research and volunteering, Sun enjoys skiing and cuddling her cats.
Aya Hanna
Social Media Manager
Aya is a 2nd year PhD student in the Microbiology and Molecular Genetics program. She became involved with GIVE at the start of her first year and now serves on the executive board. Outside of research and volunteering, Aya is an active gym go-er and loves to travel.
Rina Shou
Risk Manager
Rina is a 2nd year PhD student in the Genetics and Molecular Biology program. She started volunteering with GIVE during her first year and now serves on the executive board. Outside of research and volunteering, Rina enjoys cooking, exercising, and hanging out with her cat.
