Fellowships and Grants
Emory Grant Submission Resources
Most students will craft NIH pre-doctoral fellowship applications within the context of one of the GDBBS-affiliated grant writing courses. Information on these courses can be found in the Emory course catalog.
Submission of a grant requires routing it through a Research Administration Services (RAS) Unit. You should use the RAS affiliated with your faculty advisor's home school and department. This would not be the Laney Graduate School and your GDBBS program but would instead be your advisor's department in the School of Medicine, Emory College of Arts and Sciences, etc. To find your RAS contact, you can search by department on Emory's Find Your RAS website.
For due dates on or after January 25, 2025, NIH is revising the fellowship review criteria used to evaluate fellowship applications and modifying the PHS Fellowship Supplemental Form to align with the restructured review criteria.
